3 Questions to Ask Yourself When You Feel Stuck!

Have you ever felt like NOTHING you do truly improves your health? Have you literally tried EVERYTHING to heal your body, and yet you still haven’t found the answer(s)?

Up until I was in my mid-40’s I had always been pretty healthy — I ate “right,” I exercised regularly, I took high quality supplements, etc. Then my health suddenly took a dramatic downward turn — and NOTHING I tried worked long-term. I added enzymes, essential oils, more chiropractic, more acupuncture, more supplements, and yet I was still going downhill.

Then I found out I had Lyme Disease…and that’s when I had to figure this out on my own. I was told by other doctors that there was nothing I could do. Well, that didn’t sit well with me — I was DETERMINED to get my good health back!

What I learned along the way was how powerful our thoughts and emotions are. I had no idea! Negative emotions and beliefs actually cause negative chemistry in our bodies — so we remain sick! And most of the time it’s the emotions & beliefs that we aren’t even aware of — it’s like we are on automatic pilot just going through the motions without paying attention. Here’s a great article with some of the science behind this.

My anger, resentment and fear were derailing my health in a very significant way. When I finally started reframing and releasing these emotions, my health turned around very quickly. Now I’m fast approaching 50, and I’ve never felt better! My health and energy have returned, my relationships are the best they have ever been, and I can truly say that I am HAPPY, CALM and PEACEFUL!

We all have areas in our lives where our thoughts, emotions & beliefs keep us stuck: Health, Relationships, Finances & Career. If you are tired of being stuck, ask yourself these 3 questions to begin the process of shifting out of your blocks:

  1. What do I want? For example: I want good health or I want my life back.
  2. What would my life be like if I had what I wanted? For example: If I had good health & had my life back…I would have energy to play with my kids, I would be able to enjoy my favorite hobby, I would be able to do the work that I love, my relationships would be more loving, I would have the energy to socialize again, I would feel FREE, etc. 
  3. What are you afraid might happen if you had what you wanted? This will be the silly, ridiculous stuff that you are currently unaware of, but that is significantly blocking your goal. For example: If I had good health my significant other might leave me; If I had good health I would have to go back to that nasty job that I hate; If I had good health no one would pay attention to me; If I had good health I would feel empty inside; If I had good health I wouldn’t have anything to focus on, etc.

The 3rd question will take some thoughtful consideration. It won’t be obvious to you. In fact, the more stuck you are, the more difficult it will be to make the connection…but try anyway!
